The word mother itself comes a different meaning to each one of us. She carried us for 9 months and gave everything to let us see the world. She is our light, our comfort and our hope. But, how about the modern mothers? Who are they? I think modern mother can also be called a working mom. Mothers who works as a teacher, policewoman, office worker in a corporate company and other occupation that had lessen our time to spend with our love ones. Being a mom alone is tiring, how much more if you are a working mom? You need a lot of strength and courage since works and responsibilities are doubled.

Having a money on your own to finance your family needs is one of the satisfying reason why us working mom strive to work and sacrifice our time with our love ones. You can buy what you want without hesitating since you are earning the money. There is also a sense of self accomplishment that us being a woman can do something for our family.

Challenges of all Modern Mother

Being a modern mom is one of the difficult role in our society. We are always challenged on how to balance on being a mom and being a working individual. We are always striving on how we can survive on our daily lives. We are always having our thoughts on how can we stay on our home to be with our love ones but can still provide for the finances of our needs. We go to work while our kids are still sleeping and we go home when they're already asleep. It's just a pain for each mother how we saw our kids growing up without giving them the time that they want.

Disadvantages that our modern mother encountered:

• Less family time

• Can't attend to kids school activities

• Misses celebration such as birthday and graduation

• Difficulties in managing time between home duties and work schedule

• Stress

• Fatigue

How can a modern mother overcome the challenges?

I think being a virtual assistant and working at home is also one of the answer on how can we stay with our family while earning for our finances.

Being a virtual assistant is doing work at the comfort of our home. It seems like catching two birds with one stone. There are lots of task waiting on being a virtual assistant and I'm pretty sure that we can accomplished it. We can still make our ways on how to become a modern mother with less hustle.
